 A walk through the door of Apple Tree Lane is a pleasure to the senses. The aroma of spices drift through the air while a gaze about the store is a delight to the eyes. Customers are greeted warmly and invited in to experience the enjoyment and delight of the store. The store draws you in to browse and search for that special item for a gift or for yourself. The fiber artist will be drawn to a special spot in the store filled with wonderful yarns from well-known companies such as Brown Sheep, Cascade, Rowan, Debbie Bliss, Noro, Tahki Stacy Charles, Berroco, Crystal Palace, Plymouth, Reynolds, Lopi, Classic Elite, Lornas Laces, Trekking, Pagewood Farms, Opal, Shibui, Southwest Trading Company, Interlacements, Great Adirondack, Artyarns, Manos, and Colinette. There are always new ones, too. There are patterns and books for the knitter and crocheter as well as needles from Addi, Hiya Hiya, and Crystal Palace. Classes are offered in knitting from beginning to advanced levels. Call to set up a time! We now have an additional location for out fiber customers. This is Apple Valley Yarn Company, 398 S. Main St. (M-47), Freeland, Michigan 48623. Our phone is 989-692-2900. Our hours in Freeland are: Monday 10-9pm, Tuesday 10-5:30pm, Wednesday 10-9pm, Thursday 10-7pm, Friday 10-5:30pm, Saturday 10-5:30pm, Sundays are closed. Classes are offered there and an updated list will be posted on this site. If those times do not work for you, please call, so that we can work something out that will! Open knitting and crocheting is Monday night from 9-9pm, and Sock night is Wednesday from 6-9pm. Be sure to come and enjoy with us! The stamper and scrapbooker will be amazed as well. Apple Tree Lane is one of the largest stamp stores in the State with walls of stamps from which to choose (20,000 or so….) as well as a wall of stickers, wonderful papers and the accessories to put a memory book together. Customer service is our specialty, so special orders and hard to find item requests are always welcome. We also offer gift certificates and shipping. We always welcome your pets….we are an animal friendly store. Come on in….we’d love to meet you! We are working hard to bring these same experiences online.
